Shvarn looked out of the window at a column of soldiers marching past. They marched well, and their armour and weapons were flawless, shining with that parade-ground gleam that only the most expensive weapons had. He wasn't impressed. Bunch of Royal Guard pretty boys. The window itself was more impressive. It was made of glass. Didn't see many of those around, most just used horn panels, if anything. A thin, petulant voice sounded behind him. "The General shall see you now."

I Like Singing- TZH fanfictionI woke up, not sure where exactly I was. Slowly, I got to my feet. Stiff. Looking around, I saw that I was outside, in the middle of the road... No wonder I was having trouble moving properly, I must have caught a chill. There was a big stick with some metal on the end lying on the floor nearby. Was it mine? It looked familiar. No, it couldn't be. I don't own any sticks.  
I decided I'd try and see where I was, so I walked about for a bit. Not many people around, only a few. One of them said something. It sounded like "Urrrrrr". For a moment, I didn't know what they meant by that. Then I realised. They weren't speaking, they were singing I Like Singing- TZH fanfiction
